I completely agree! The death penalty is a relic of a barbaric past. If Biden wants to be remembered as a president who stands for justice, he needs to act swiftly and decisively before it’s too late.

It’s less expensive to sentence someone to a high-security prison with no chance of parole than to execute them. Eliminating the death sentence would be forcing them to suffer for their crimes much longer, which might be a deterrent to committing those violent crimes. The money saved could be used for the necessary resources to save the few innocently-convicted death row inmates.

I get where you’re coming from, but don’t you think it’s also about justice? Some of these people did terrible things, and maybe they should face the consequences of their actions. Just my two cents!
