In reply to Ramiro_5. I get that, but I also don’t think “everyone knew” should turn into “so the courts should just hurry up and punish him harder.” If the sentence needed review, that’s on the legal system—not on whether people are mad online.

In reply to Grover_Anderson. Agreed — if the sentence had a legal flaw, resentencing is the right move. That doesn’t change the conviction or the fact that Weinstein is a predator, it just means the process has to hold up on appeal too.

In reply to Rigoberto_Conroy. Honestly, the “too many people knew” part is what makes this whole thing so ugly. Hollywood protected him for years because he was useful, and then acted shocked when it blew up. Accountability is long overdue.

I’m glad the conviction stands, but why is resentencing even needed? This guy is a predator and every delay feels like another insult to the victims.

Not defending Weinstein at all, but if the court made an error in sentencing then it has to be fixed. Justice needs to be done properly or the defense will just use it on appeal. ⚖️
