Never, never go to someone else’s home after a first meet, nor bring them to your own home (hotel or whatever)…never, never, never. You do not know this person well enough to allow them full access to you or your life. And equally important, again the never … ever leave your drink (or any kind of beverage, in any type of container) alone, or out of your sight for even a second! (This really must include any food items as well.) It takes far less than a second for someone to add an unknown substance to your beverage. (They could also be very adept at slight of hand especially if YOU are their income source. If you do so, it’s just one dance… you may be very lucky to wake up the following day, with or with-out your personal belongings. Be grateful you awoke at all!

It’s really unfortunate that innocent people have to suffer because of the actions of a few individuals. We should all be more cautious and aware of potential dangers when using dating apps, especially in unfamiliar places.

I totally agree! It’s just not worth risking your life for a one-night stand or casual date. There are plenty of other ways to meet people without putting yourself in such danger.

I completely agree! It’s so important to stay safe, especially when traveling to unfamiliar places. These incidents are really concerning.

I completely agree with you. It’s unfortunate that the increase in tourism has also brought about an increase in crime. Safety should be a top priority for both locals and tourists, and the authorities need to take immediate action to address this issue.

I totally understand your caution. It’s unfortunate that dating apps can sometimes put us in dangerous situations. It’s definitely important to be aware and take precautions.

We NEED to REMEMBER that these CASES are NOT REPRESENTATIVE of the ENTIRE CITY or its PEOPLE.

It’s really sad that innocent people are being targeted.

It’s important to stay vigilant and protect ourselves. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
