In reply to lucky777. Yeah, it does seem pretty confusing. From what I gather, even though Hernandez was in US custody, Honduras still has its own legal processes and possibly separate charges, so they issued their own warrant. Could be political maneuvering too, especially given the tense election situation.

In reply to Njada. Yeah, it's definitely suspicious. Trump usually stays out of complicated Central American politics, but here he seems really invested. Pardoning Hernandez, who was caught up in drug trafficking charges, right after backing Asfura? Looks like there's more than just friendly support—maybe some deals or influence peddling happened behind closed doors. I wouldn't be surprised if the real story never comes out.

It’s kinda wild that Trump is getting involved in Honduran politics like this. Throwing his support behind Asfura and pardoning Hernandez smells fishy to me. I bet there’s a lot more going on behind the scenes than we’re being told.

Honestly, I don’t know much about Honduran politics, but it seems like a real mess. I hope the people there can have a fair election and that whoever wins can bring some stability and peace.
