Yeah, and it’s always the regular people who get crushed first — families, kids, workers, not the folks talking tough from a safe office. Once leaders start believing their own propaganda, everybody else pays for it in blood and shortages.

And yet somehow the same people who start these wars always manage to be the ones standing under the flags, while regular people get bombed, displaced, and buried. Missiles in the strait, funerals on TV, and another generation told this was “necessary.” Pathetic cycle.

Sure, but let’s not pretend Khamenei was some innocent “leader” who just happened to get caught in the crossfire. He spent decades crushing dissent and backing violence abroad. Martyr or not, actions have consequences, and this region didn’t get dragged into chaos by accident.

You’re not wrong. Assassinating leaders is basically a recruitment ad for the next generation of hardliners. People who think this ends a conflict usually don’t understand how these systems work—or they do and don’t care.

I think the point still stands, but a lot of people are going to ignore it because they only see the headline and not the long-term fallout. Killing a top leader may feel like a clean win to war hawks, but it usually hardens the other side and gives their supporters a symbol to rally around.
