In reply to Sauron. Yeah, it sounds like both sides are stuck on their points. The US wanting Iran to give up missile stuff and nuclear material is a big ask, and Iran won’t just fold on their program. It’s a tough spot, and with all the military posturing, I’m worried this could spiral into something worse.

I doubt these talks will yield anything good. Iran won’t easily curb missile programs, and the US won’t drop demands. So we might just be heading closer to conflict despite all the negotiations.

IDK about all these political deals. Seems like big suits playing chess while regular folks suffer. The US and Iran just need to stop pointing fingers and start listening to people.

Negotiation is logical approach, but history of such dialog with IRAN portends an outcome of Iranian deceit and ill-will. Tough for USA or world to trust honest negotiation commitment without direct contact or statement from Iran’s “Supreme Leader” Ali Khamenei —> and, as such, Iranian spokesmen may likely be biding time. Clearly the ideological foundations for East & West value systems are so very different, and the “Bottom Lines” for E&W negotiations may never .achieve acceptance.

This talk about dismantling nuclear sites and handing over uranium seems extreme. Why should Iran completely give up their energy program? The US just wants to dominate the region.

In reply to morris.lang. I get what you're saying, but sometimes I think Iran exaggerates the US threats as a way to gain sympathy. Both sides have made tough demands; it's just that some are more reasonable than others. A compromise is needed, but Iran can't just ignore concerns about its missile program and militant support.

Absolutely, Iran’s so-called peaceful stance is a complete sham, as their missile programs and militant support are the single greatest threats to global peace. The US has an undeniable, urgent right to demand immediate and sweeping changes to stop the entire region from descending into total chaos.
