I don’t trust those Murdoch media outlets at all. They’ve played such a big role in polarizing politics and pushing agendas that aren’t always truthful. This settlement just means we’ll probably see more of the same biased coverage under Lachlan’s control.

In reply to geoWizard. Yeah man, it’s wild how one family's media grip can shape politics so much. Makes you wonder if true democracy’s even possible with that kind of influence. Here’s hoping the new trust shakes things up, but I’m not holding my breath.

Why is it such a big deal Its just a family sorting out their inheritance People make a big fuss about Murdoch but at the end of the day families fight over business all the time I just wish there was less political drama involved

Murdoch’s media empire influencing Brexit and Trump rise is scary, dude. It feels like one family controls so much of what we see and hear, ya know? Hopefully, this new trust doesn’t mean more of the same propaganda and manipulation, legit.
