Racism shouldn’t be forgiven so easily. It’s a serious issue that affects so many people and communities. What message does that send to those who have suffered from discrimination and prejudice? It minimizes their experiences and undermines the progress we’ve made toward equality and justice. It’s incredibly frustrating and disheartening to see influential figures making choices that may seem to condone such behavior. 😡
