However, mixing religion with sports and politics has always been a controversial and sensitive topic that tends to cause trouble. Many people feel strongly about keeping these areas separate to avoid conflicts and misunderstandings. Honestly, I think the Bulls made the right call. Just like in the iconic ‘Remember the Titans’ where inclusivity helped the team come together, sports need to stand by inclusivity. These types of comments can create divisions similar to those seen in ‘To Kill a Mockingbird,’ hurting people and communities.
