It ain't just Mexico, it's happening everywhere rich people show up and push others out. But still, resorting to violence ain’t the answer. We gotta find ways to talk and create solutions.

This seems exaggerated to me. I live in Roma and rents are high but it’s not only foreigners driving prices up. The city’s growth and investors are the main issues, plus inflation, not just gringos.

Don’t you see the violence and vandalism as troubling? But can you blame locals for their frustration? When rents spike because rich outsiders move in, aren’t regular people pushed out of their own neighborhoods? Isn’t this a global problem, not just Mexico’s?

In reply to tammera.tillman2019. I totally agree, it’s easy to blame foreigners but the real problem is the government’s failure to create affordable housing. These protests show frustration, but scapegoating won’t fix systemic issues.

Why should foreigners get to live here and push Mexicans out? 🌎🏠 This is our city and we gotta keep it for Mexicans first. 🇲🇽👍 Maybe if they paid taxes 💵 and learned Spanish 🇪🇸, things would be better.
