There’s no way Trump cares about soccer as much as they say. Remember, he barely understands half the sports he talks about. This is just another PR stunt for 2028 Olympics and 2026 World Cup.

TRUMP’S ‘AMERICA FIRST’ TALK ALWAYS MAKES ME UNEASY BECAUSE IT CONTRADICTS THE GLOBAL SPIRIT OF SOCCER. SPORTS SHOULD UNITE, NOT DIVIDE. I FEAR HIS POLICIES MIGHT HURT THE EXPERIENCE FOR INTERNATIONAL FANS HERE.

Interesting to see Trump getting involved in soccer, a sport that’s still growing in the US. Hope this helps boost its popularity, but I’m skeptical if it’s more about politics than real love for the game.

I honestly don’t buy that Trump really loves soccer. It feels like just another way for him to grab headlines and push his agenda. The way he mixed politics when Juventus visited was just weird and kind of disrespectful.

I think people should chill. Trump having a soccer goal in the White House garden and his son liking the sport is pretty normal stuff. He’s human like everyone else, and sports can be a bridge regardless of politics.
