Yeah, and ordinary Lebanese people always end up paying the bill while the armed groups and foreign powers play chess with their lives. The sad part is everyone claims they’re protecting Lebanon, but the villages and families stuck in the middle keep getting displaced.

Yep, that’s basically the whole game: everybody says peace while keeping a hand on the trigger and a foot on the oil valve. Civilians pay the bill every time, then politicians call it “stability.”
