Totally get your skepticism. Lots of these ‘open policies’ seem more like political theater. The US visit probably is just a way to show they’re still relevant in the region while China quietly gains control. Feels like we’re watching a real-life drama unfold with a script nobody believes.

I’m a bit confused by your comment. Seems like you might be surprised or concerned about Ream growing bigger? Yeah, this whole US and China naval thing at that base is pretty tense. Cambodia’s in the middle of a power play for sure.
